About South Florida ISSA
The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) South Florida Chapter is one of the region’s largest cybersecurity professional organizations, connecting practitioners, executives, students, government, and industry leaders through education, networking, and community engagement.
Each month we host a professional development meeting focused on current cybersecurity challenges, emerging technologies, and leadership.
What Are Our Monthly Meetings?
Our meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month and include:
- Networking with cybersecurity professionals
- Industry thought leadership presentations
- Technical or leadership-focused educational sessions
- Continuing Professional Education (CPE) opportunities for attendees
- Student engagement and career networking
Attendance typically includes security leaders, CISOs, engineers, architects, consultants, educators, government professionals, and students from across South Florida.

- Basic A/V capabilities
- Assistance with campus access and parking guidance
- Promotion of the event to students and faculty
ISSA South Florida manages event planning, speaker coordination, registration, communications, and attendee management.
