Speaking Opportunities

Share your knowledge, experience, and expertise with the South Florida cybersecurity community.

SFISSA hosts monthly chapter meetings on the third Thursday of every month, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, practitioners, executives, students, and industry leaders from across South Florida.

Two Perspectives at Every Meeting

We encourage every SFISSA monthly meeting to feature two presentations, bringing together perspectives from both industry and the cybersecurity community:

  • Sponsor Thought Leadership Presentation – An educational, vendor-neutral session from one of our sponsoring organizations focused on industry trends, emerging technologies, research, lessons learned, or practical cybersecurity insights.
  • Community Member Presentation – A session led by a cybersecurity practitioner, researcher, educator, student, or other community member who wants to share their knowledge and experience.

Our goal is to create meetings that combine industry thought leadership with authentic community knowledge and experience.

Presentation Guidelines

Presentations are generally 30–45 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.

We welcome technical deep dives, demonstrations, case studies, cybersecurity research, emerging threats, leadership and governance topics, lessons learned, and other subjects that provide value to our community.

Sponsor presentations should be educational and thought-leadership focused rather than sales presentations or product pitches.
