January 2016 SFISSA Meeting – Thursday, January 21st, 6pm at Nova Southeastern University

South Florida’s January 2016 meeting will be on Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at Nova Southeastern University. The meeting will take place in the Carl DeSantis Building from 6PM to 9:30PM, followed by their usual networking hour.

Abstract:

Bio:
Michael Sholl is a Florida-based security expert, and technologist. He is also enthusiastic about advances in home automation, bio-hacking, and crypto-currency.
Mike grew up on the Internet and started his first computer consulting company in Chicago, working with the Evanston Health Network–designing computers and networking hospital equipment. He graduated with a BBA from the University of Miami with a focus on Information Technology. Later his experience as the IT Security Manager of Burger King Corporation’s security team brought real-world expertise to bear on the implementation and operation of today’s largest and most sophisticated IT technologies and systems.
